CIRTA’s Workforce Connect Service

At CIRTA, we strive to enhance accessibility, increase efficiency, and provide reliable public transit across Central Indiana. We’re working to make commuting stress-free by improving and expanding transit options for employees and employers throughout the region. Workforce Connect, a service of CIRTA, can help you reach your workplace in the Plainfield or Whitestown areas. Pay your $1 fare, and ride to your job stress-free on the Plainfield or Whitestown Connectors!

Plainfield Connector

The Plainfield Connector takes you through Plainfield in three easy steps. First, reach the transfer point by taking IndyGo’s Route 8 westbound to Bridgeport Road. Second, you’ll get off the bus and cross the street to the shelter. Finally, you’re ready to hop on board with your $1 fare! The Plainfield Connector is designed with commuters in mind. It travels through the industrial parks next to the airport, and the combined route serves all existing stops on both the north and south connectors. With two shifts a day, 6 days a week in the morning, afternoon, and evening until 7 p.m. Service starts at 5:10 a.m. at the northeast corner of Washington and Delaware across from the Downtown Transit Center, then travels directly to Plainfield. The Whitestown Connector brings workers to Whitestown. Take IndyGo’s Route 37 or Route 86 to Traders Point Shopping Center. Then, get off at Traders Point and get on the Whitestown Connector. Like with Plainfield, taking the Whitestown Connector only costs $1, and a 10-trip pass is available for purchase on the bus with cash ($10). The Whitestown Connector serves small businesses and large distribution centers. It travels through the Anson industrial park area and along Indianapolis Road to the west of I-65; two shifts a day, 6 days a week in the morning, afternoon, and evening until 7 p.m. Service starts at 5:10 a.m. at the northeast corner of Washington and Delaware across the Downtown Transit Center, then travels directly to Whitestown.
