City of Anderson Transit System (CATS) offers seven local fixed routes to the general public in the City of Anderson. Nifty Lift, CATS’ door-to-door ADA paratransit service, is available for eligible riders, who because of a disability, may require an alternative to CATS fixed route service.

Closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after Thanksgiving, and Christimas eve and Christmas day.

Fares

  • Ages 6–59: $1.00, one-way trip
  • Ages 60+, Medicare card holders, and disabled veterans: $.50, one-way trip
  • Nifty Lift: $2.00, one-way trip
  • Unlimited passes: $12.00, valid for 15 consecutive days upon issue; $24.00, valied for 31 consecutive days
  • Student unlimited passes: $9.00, valid for 15 consecutive days upon issue; $18.00, valied for 31 consecutive days
  • VIP passes: See terminal attendant for details
  • Transfers are free

Review the appropriate schedule and go to the bus stop at the appropriate time. Can’t get to the bus stop? CATS also offers Nifty Lift, a curb-to-curb shared ride paratransit service. Request a ride by calling 765.646.5747.
