City of Anderson Transit System (CATS) offers seven local fixed routes to the general public in the City of Anderson. Nifty Lift, CATS’ door-to-door ADA paratransit service, is available for eligible riders, who because of a disability, may require an alternative to CATS fixed route service.
Closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after Thanksgiving, and Christimas eve and Christmas day.
Fares
- Ages 6–59: $1.00, one-way trip
- Ages 60+, Medicare card holders, and disabled veterans: $.50, one-way trip
- Nifty Lift: $2.00, one-way trip
- Unlimited passes: $12.00, valid for 15 consecutive days upon issue; $24.00, valied for 31 consecutive days
- Student unlimited passes: $9.00, valid for 15 consecutive days upon issue; $18.00, valied for 31 consecutive days
- VIP passes: $6.00 for 15 days or $12 for 31 days
- Transfers are free
