You can help.

There are a lot of ways to provide alternative transportation options for Central Indiana, additional walking trails, bike trails, expanded bus routes and commuter routes and, of course, mass transit, all will help make our communities better places to live and work.

Have CIRTA present to your group.

CIRTA regularly visits all 10 Central Indiana counties discussing the mass transit issue. We can help your group understand the issue, the need, and what needs to be done to make Indy Connect happen. It is never too late to schedule a presentation and we encourage you to shoot us an email or give us a call to set up an opportunity to speak with your group.

Attend a board meeting.

CIRTA Board meetings usually occur six times per year. Most meetings occur, at 9:00 AM, at MIBOR REALTOR Association, 1912 N. Meridian St., Indianapolis, IN 46202. View information about upcoming board meetings and minutes from past meetings.

Tell your commuter story.

Help spread the word about how successful and even enjoyable alternative transportation can be.

Get your employer to promote other transportation options.

Encourage your employer to become a part of CIRTA’s Commuter Connect program, and start promoting alternative commuting options. Or if your employer already participates, encourage them to work with Commuter Connect to expand on their current offerings.
