Weekday Service connecting downtown Indianapolis with Fishers and Carmel
Commuters: Take back an hour of your day on the Indy Express Bus from Carmel or Fishers to downtown. Thanks to free Wi-Fi and all the comforts of a Miller Transportation motorcoach, you can relax, read, work, sleep, text or whatever else you want while we do the driving.
Indy Express Bus service offers transportation to employment locations in downtown Indianapolis, Carmel and Fishers. Service to job sites in Carmel and Fishers is called reverse commute service.

Buses leave from park-and-ride lots in Fishers and Carmel and make stops downtown, including IUPUI.

The $5 one-way fare can be paid to the driver in cash. Exact change is required. Single-trip, 10-trip ($50) or the $150 calendar-month unlimited-trip passes can be purchased online. Use the buttons below and present your printed receipt to the bus driver to obtain your pass. You must be able to print from your computer at the time of your purchase.
Calendar-month passes may be used within 1 calendar month. For example, the April pass is used April 1 through April 30.
Reverse commute service
Passengers can board the Indy Express Bus at Pennsylvania and Ohio or Illinois and New York, ride to the Carmel and Fishers park-and-ride lots, then transfer to shuttles that travel to employment locations. Passengers can also transfer to the shuttles from IndyGo Routes 18 and 19. The Carmel Shuttle connects with IndyGo Route 18 at 86th and the Monon Trail. The Fishers Shuttle connects with IndyGo Route 19 at Community Hospital North.
New reverse commute express bus and shuttle schedules went into effect in February 2013. If you have opened one of the following schedules in the past, be sure to refresh your browser after the schedule opens. This way, your computer will display the most up-to-date schedule.

The reverse commute fare on Indy Express Bus (cash only, exact change required) is $3 one-way, or $1 for passengers transferring from IndyGo who can show a valid date-stamped IndyGo pass (single-ride, day, 10-ride or 31-day). The Carmel and Fishers Shuttles are free.

Emergency Ride Home
Indy Express Bus riders employed by participating companies may be eligible for the Emergency Ride Home (ERH) benefit if they need a ride home because of an emergency. The benefit is available to registered commuters using the bus an average of 3 or more days per week. Sign up and get more information.
