Here’s the good news. The Indianapolis area has a network of transportation links to help you get around by foot, by bike and by bus.
Here’s the better news. Central Indiana’s transportation system is going to improve. Plans are being developed to create a viable, comprehensive network that will offer you better and more accessible transportation alternatives. So, whether you live in Shelbyville or Indianapolis, Avon or Greenwood, or Carmel or Fishers, the Central Indiana Regional Transportation Authority (CIRTA) is developing new ways to help connect you with the places you want to go.
